A visit to Manali should include visits to nearby villages and amazing views of the distinctive culture of the region. If you add Gulaba to your list, you won't be disappointed. The village has some of the most thrilling trekking routes in Himachal Pradesh, which is a favorite destination for winter visitors looking for some of the snowy countrysides. Some consider it a safe place to camp and watch stars due to low light pollution and high altitude.

Old Manali, Manali

Old Manali is the oldest part of the city. Here you can walk along the streets, walk through vignettes from the past when the pilgrims arrived in Manali, a sleepy pilgrimage town. Old Manali provides some of the best views in the region thanks to forests and apple trees. Old Manali is separated from the main town by a bridge across the high-current Manaslu River. You can go coffeeing to some of Manali's famous cafes, such as Café 1947, Born Free, Evergreen, and Sunshine, and shop and buy dream catchers, shrugging, and woolen borehole clothes.

Rahala Falls, Manali

The Rahala Falls is an extremely powerful sight during the Monsoon and post-Monsoon season, with water pouring onto the rocks and spraying tourists with fresh, cold mountain water. Near the falls there are many picnic areas where you can spend a nice time with your family and friends. There are plenty of food. There are several lovely walking paths alongside the waterfalls and it's a real treat to explore the area by densely populated deodorous and silver birch trees.

Jagatsukh, Manali

Jagatsukh is a charming mountain town, renowned for its temples. A visual treat is made from the background of shimmering snowy summits and deep green forests. Jagatsukh is one of the most important settlements in Kullu and an excellent place to enjoy vernacular architecture. Jagatsukh can be used as a base for anyone wishing to climb into the Deo Tibba Mountains. One of the many interesting tourist sites in the area of Manali is the temple of Devi Sharbali.

Naggar Castle, Manali

Naggar Castle is a 15th-century historical building in the region of Kullu, set amid the picturesque surroundings of the Beas Valley. The castle is now a heritage hotel run by the tourism development company Himachar Pradesh, designed by Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu. The wooden construction of the castle represents the distinctive style typically found in the region, and some European elements have been added to it over the years. The city and the surrounding alpine forests can be enjoyed from the castle overlooking it.

Rohtang Pass, Manali

Spend a day in your Manali route and you won't regret Rohtang Pass. This high mountain pass on the Pir Panjal Range will leave you breathless at 4000 metres above sea level. Rohtang Pass is also an environment where nature lovers, artists, and photographers have been playing their favourite for decades, as well as adventure sports such as mountain biking and skiing. The pass was used in many films in Bollywood, including Jab We Met.

Katrain, Manali

Katrain is an amazing fishing paradise that is very different than the rest of your Manali excursions. Katrain gives you a sweeping landscape. The town ticks all the boxes of the Himachali quintessence. Test some of the local dishes packed with rustic, nutritious flavours while you are here. Katrain is a good place to stroll, aside from the richness of trout in its sparkling waters.

Gauri Shankar Temple, Manali

The temple of Gauri Shankar is known for its architectural Shikhara design and numerous stone-wall sculptures. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, which traces the history of the twelfth century and is thought to be the last structure of the practises of Gurjara-Pratihara. The gravures display a number of gods and other holy motifs on the walls. The Gauri Shankar Temple is surrounded by lush greenery and one of Manali's leading temples.

Manali Sanctuary, Manali

Manali Sanctuary has situated about 2 km from the town and provides a rare view of the wilderness. Many threatened and seldom-sighted plants and animals live in the sanctuary, which spans for 31,8 kilometres. During the Summer, steel sheep fall into the range. If you want to take pictures please keep your zoom lenses in hand. Arable, walnut and deodar trees make this sanctuary even more attractive, especially in the autumn month when the leaves produce colourful tapestries. Adventure seekers can choose to hike and camp at the sanctuary.

Nicholas Roerich Art gallery

The Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery and Museum celebrates its artistic homage, named after a prominent Russian artist who spent decades in Himachal Pradesh fleeing the revolution. Included among these objects are rare artist's photographs, landscape photographs and indigenous portraits. The museum was founded in 1962 and is housed in its once-residential building.
