Tarkarli

Tarkarli is a small town in Maharashtra, famous for its long and narrow beach. People know him because of his white sand and pristine waters, and also the Sindhudurg sea fort. It's a beautiful weekend that is not hampered by marketing. The forts and bastions in Maratha along with untouched Suru trees, Malvani food and fine sand are enough to attract many tourists in search of quiet and peaceful times. Dolphins can be sighted occasionally, too.


Gokarna


Gokarna in Karnataka, which is well-known for its Hindu temples and beaches, is another beautiful city on the Karwar coast. Recently it has become a popular hippies and beach fans destination. This is a perfect city for a peaceful and quiet visit. The stunning sandy beaches are lined with palm trees. On the opposite, it is also famous for Lord Shiva's Mahabaleshwar Temple. The Koti Teertha is near a temple tank where devotees can wash.

Dandeli


Dandeli is a beautiful city in Karnataka's Uttara Kannada district. The greenery and river Kali are known to it. It is a well-known venue for lovers of rafting and other explorers who can go hiking, surfing, kayaking and canoeing. The Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary is another important place to visit, where Black Panthers, Tigers, Aunks, Bison and other species of birds can be seen. Other prominent sites are the Kali Tiger reserve, consisting of Anshi National Park and the cave of Kavala.

Malvan


Among the eight Sindhudurg Maharashtra Taluks Malvan is numbered. It's a holiday destination for any form of tourist. Everybody has something to do here in Malvan, from popular Malvani dishes to beautiful beaches to adventurous activities. Malvan is a rare spot for sports lovers and snorkelers. It is suitable for different water sports due to the existence of the backwaters. Also known is the dolphin sighting and riding. For those who wish to become pious, there are also some temples.

Amboli


Amboli is situated in the Sahayadri hills of the District of Sindhudurg, at an altitude of 690 metres, and it is a renowned hill resort in southern Maharashtra. Perhaps it's the last hill stop. The highlands and coastal lands of Goa will begin afterwards. It is regarded as one of the world's most popular eco hot spots. There are plenty of uncommon flora and wildlife species. Amboli is also the wetest since the state's highest rainfall is caused by all of the greenery. For those that enjoy nature, it's a perfect weekend getaway.

Karwar

The Karwar is also known as the "Konkan Coast Queen" is primarily a harbour city in Karnataka. The beach is well known by visitors because of its divine beaches such as the Tagore Rabindranath Beach and the black sand of Tilmati Beach. There are also places suitable for scuba diving. The Ins Chapel includes videos and objects of the 1971 Indo-Pak War. A boat was a former missile boat converted into a Warship Museum. Also well-visited alongside the Durga temple is Sadashivgad Fort, the Kali River Bridge.


Kolhapur

Kolhapur is located on the banks of the Maharashtra river Panchaganga. The Mahalakshmi Temple is renowned for its temples. An old palace named the Bhavani Mandap was converted into a museum that exhibits wild animals stuffed. The Rankala lake between the gardens is another tourist attraction. The Jyotiba Temple is situated in the outskirts of the town. Kolhapur is considered to be held in August in the Naga Panchami festival. It's also known for its kitchen and chappels from Kolhapuri.


Kodagu

Kodagu is Coorg's official name, a rural Karnataka District. It is renowned for its luxuriant landscape and exotic greenery. Madikeri Fort is the city's best-known tourist site and has sculptures on the same grounds, the Gothic theme of a Church and a museum. Also known among the Hindus is the Temple of Omkareshwara. This hill resort is also renowned for its production of coffee and the Martial Arts Kodava clan.
